Grow Your Business with Your Staff

Your staff holds key information about your business. They work with dieters every day, getting feedback on both positive and negative issues. How you do as a business, affects their jobs- if you don't do well, they don't get paid well! It's that simple.  Your employees are a resource that can make your business better! Here's how to start:

Share ideas:

Brainstorm with your staff about new ideas that can bring in more customers. Nine times out of ten, they will have a few- consider having a special meeting that is wide open to suggestions.  Open an hour early and serve coffee and breakfast, or take your employees out to lunch to change the scenery a bit.  Showing your employees you value their opinion, will make them feel more open to express how they feel.

Open door policy:

Encourage your staff to come to you or other management with any issue, concern, or problem at any time.  This enables problem solving within your organization, and eliminates unaddressed conflicts that eventually hurt relationships and the organization.

Employee incentives:

Provide incentives that benefit your employees to grow and maintain your client base. There are no rights or wrongs, try different strategies and see what works best for your business.  Offer a 3 month discount to family and friends of employees or commission for new dieters recruited.  Your employees already work hard to help dieter's maintain their weight- offer a bonus to employees who help their dieters maintain their weight loss for a year.
