A Positive Body Image Will Make You Look Like a Princess Too!

With the royal wedding just a day away, wedding fever has swept the nation. After the day is over and England has welcomed a new princess, bloggers and journalists everywhere will write about each and every aspect, with much emphasis on how Kate Middleton looked.
I can say, with some certainty, she will look absolutely beautiful – but I can say the same about all brides, as love and radiance make a woman glow. But, for most women, this isn’t always enough and from the moment the engagement ring is placed on her finger, she starts worrying about exactly how she will look and how she is going to shed for the wedding (there’s even a reality show about it)!
While preparing – or helping a dieter to prepare, if you’re a weight loss professional – to slim down for a wedding or other big event, realize that standing tall with confidence and a positive body image can go a long way towards making you shine with radiance.
So stop minimizing your positive features and magnifying flaws when looking in the mirror and start reshaping your body image and accepting the way you are right now by:
- Surrounding yourself with people who value and love you for who you are. Don’t let your size define you; it’s who you are inside that matters most.
- Taking care of your body. Rest when you’re tired; find time to relax and enjoy some body pleasures.
- Dressing in fashionable clothes that fit you now. Don’t hide in baggy clothes; it could prevent you from getting beyond a poor body image. Take pride in the way you look right now!
- Staying active. Movement and exercise can boost your energy and help you feel better about your body.
Recognizing your beauty and having a positive body image will help you stand tall and confident on your wedding day so that, even if you aren’t marrying a prince, you’ll still look (and feel) like the most important girl in the world!
